Terms & Disclosures

About this publication
Asymmetric Edge is an independent equity research publication examining businesses, earnings expectations, valuation, and risk.
Asymmetric Edge is operated by its publisher (the “Publisher”, “we”, “us”). Contact: info@asymedge.com.
These terms cover our public website, articles, charts, and The Letter, our free email newsletter. They do not grant access to any separately offered paid service or research application. When you expressly agree to these terms at signup, they form an agreement between you and the Publisher. The research disclosures and notices below also explain the nature of material available to visitors.
Authors write on behalf of the Publisher. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the disclaimers and limitations below also apply to those authors and our data providers.
Research, not advice
Content is general information and education. It does not take account of your personal circumstances, financial position, investment objectives, or risk tolerance.
Nothing in the publication is personalised investment, legal, or tax advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, including interests in a fund or managed account. Reading or subscribing does not create an advisory relationship. We do not review individual portfolios or advise on readers’ personal financial circumstances.
You remain responsible for your investment decisions. Investments can lose value, including the entire amount invested. Short, leveraged, and derivative positions can lose more than the amount invested. Past performance and individual trade outcomes do not guarantee future results.
Assumptions, forecasts, and accuracy
Research reflects the information and judgment available when it was prepared. Opinions, assumptions, and estimates can change.
Valuation scenarios, price targets, forecasts, and model outputs are conditional analyses, not promises of future prices or returns. Historical valuation ranges do not limit future market prices.
Unless stated otherwise, results cited for past calls measure the security’s price change from the stated date and price. They are not returns of any account and exclude costs, taxes, currency effects, and dividends. Illustrative or hypothetical examples are not actual investment results.
Reported figures, third-party estimates, and our own assumptions can differ in timing, methodology, and accounting treatment. We take reasonable care, but information can contain errors, omissions, or delays. We do not update every past article or chart. Verify material information independently before relying on it.
Positions and conflicts
The author and accounts or entities the author controls may hold positions in securities discussed. These interests can create conflicts.
Company-specific articles disclose relevant positions and material commercial relationships as of publication. A disclosed position or transaction describes circumstances at the stated time and may subsequently change. It is not an instruction to copy a trade.
The Letter and accounts
Public articles can be read without subscribing. The Letter delivers research and editorial updates by email. You can unsubscribe through the link in each newsletter.
Subscribing does not enrol you in a paid service. Each subscriber account is for one individual and may not be shared. Access does not grant an organisational data licence; use by or for an organisation requires our separate written permission and any necessary provider permissions.
The scope, frequency, and availability of the free publication can change.
If you unsubscribe from all our newsletters, we may close your free account as part of routine account maintenance. This removes access to features requiring a login. Paid and complimentary memberships are not closed merely because you unsubscribe from emails.
Copyright and sharing
Original research, text, charts, and designs are protected by copyright. All rights reserved. Third-party financial data remains subject to its owners’ rights.
You may share links to public articles. Quotation and other uses permitted by law remain permitted. Public availability does not grant permission to reproduce articles, republish charts, or redistribute underlying financial data. Other reproduction requires our written permission.
Authorised reproductions must keep applicable attribution and proprietary notices, must not misrepresent the research, and must not imply endorsement.
Licensed financial data
Financial information includes data obtained from third-party providers under licence. Access permits personal reading and research through the publication. It gives you no ownership of the data, no organisational licence, and no right to supply data to others.
Except where we expressly authorise it in writing within our licensing rights, or applicable law permits it, you must not:
- Scrape, systematically extract, bulk-download, or reconstruct licensed datasets from the publication.
- Export or redistribute licensed data as spreadsheets, CSV, JSON, APIs, feeds, or other machine-readable datasets.
- Resell, sublicense, republish, or supply licensed data to third parties.
- Use licensed data to build a competing database, data product, or service.
- Benchmark licensed data or providers’ services, use them to conduct competitive analysis of those providers, or publish that analysis.
- Reverse-engineer provider software, services, or protected data-compilation methods.
- Remove proprietary notices or required attribution.
- Circumvent authentication, access restrictions, or usage limits.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the publication or its providers’ services.
- Use licensed data to train or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models.
- Use content or data unlawfully or in breach of third-party rights.
Downloaded material, where offered, is for personal research only and does not include the right to extract or redistribute underlying licensed data.
Data availability and removal
Financial data can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or withdrawn. It is not an execution feed.
We may restrict, replace, or remove data and related material, including when supplier rights change or end. Where our licences require it, you must stop using and delete licensed data on request, subject to applicable law.
Data providers
Financial data includes information provided by Financial Modeling Prep.
Market Data from Tiingo.com
Providers and their licensors retain their rights in their data and services. They do not sponsor or endorse Asymmetric Edge’s research, models, or conclusions.
Availability and liability
The publication and third-party data are provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher, its authors, and its data providers exclude implied warranties and liability for losses arising from reliance on the publication, including investment losses and indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity. We communicate material changes and obtain renewed agreement where required.
